An Ode to Mama Africa

I've always had the violent urge to drop kick any ignorant mofos outhere, especially those who say ignorant s**t about Africa. If you are an African American, it's absouluetly appalling to me that caucasians can spit out information about their European Ancestors, while spitting information about africa. A.A.s tend to disassociate themselves from Africa, they are quick to embrace the carribbean *even when there are zero traces they hail from there, or even smelled the oceanic breeze.*

Where it all began.

My heart, my love, my pride and Joy.

They have taintedd you, not in my eyes

but the eyes of the ignorant.

Without you there's no me,

Why is it that today's Blacks/African Americans are pratically ashamed to be tied to Africa? Nevermind the fact that these are Black Americans of slave descent. Its funny because They are usually proud to state that they have a white great grandmother n this and that, when reality your white blood wasnt necessarily by choice, more of the choice of the slave master. Whether you are Black born to parents in the Caribbean or to parents from Africa, please understand Africa is where humanity originated. You dont need to move to Africa but it doesn't hurt to give due to the motherland either. (this video *above*is a reminder that there are those who recognize Africa...too bad they are just a minority in this issue)

The Africa you see on T.V. isn't all there is too Africa, its your duty to take the intiative as to what else is there besides the "feed the children, Aids, and many others" *Although these issues are very important* its not a balanced outlook nor is it all Africa is about, This next video is about the OTHER side of Africa.
